BILLY DECKER BRINGS HOME TWO TOP FIVE FINISHES AT FONDA SPEEDWAY TUESDAY NIGHT

FONDA, NY July 27,2010 (By Dave Medler) - Billy Decker brought out his Gypsum Wholesalers No.91 Rocket chassis Late Model Tuesday night to compete in the Lucas Oil Late Model Series against the likes of Scott Bloomquist, Jimmy Owens, Don O'Neal, Dale Mc Dowell and other touring professionals.
"Decker in the Gypsum Express Rocket gave the home state fans a thrill early on. He was constantly challenging O’Neal for the lead in the early going," said the Lucas Oil Late Model Series media director. At the finish Decker brought home a 5th place finish after 50 hard fought laps.
Larry Wight got some valuable seat time Tuesday night in his Gypsum Express No.99L Rocket chassis by first making the A-Main. In the feature Wight clicked off consistent laps and finished 18th at the checkers.
In the Thunder On The Thruway Modified 50 lap feature Billy Decker started 8th in the feature lineup and worked his way forward finishing 3rd at the finish. Pat Ward in his Gypsum Express No.42p grabbed a top ten finish showing 9th at the checkers. Larry Wight finished twenty-sixth.
From a late night/early Wednesday morning release from Kevin Kovac World Of Outlaws Late Model Series media director Tim Fuller in his Gypsum Express No.19 Rocket chassis finished 12th at the Central Pennsylvania Speedway to open the Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek. The WoO LMS Ohio-Pennsylvania Speedweek continues on Wednesday night (July 28) at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. After an off-day on Thursday, the swing visits Attica (Ohio) Raceway Park on Fri., July 30; Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, on Sat., July 31; and Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pa., on Sun., Aug. 1.
